The Sydney Loan.
London, March 22.—Tenders for the City of gydney loan of £333,000 were opened today. They were found to amount to £523,000. Tenders at £101 3s will recoive 3S pr cent., above that in full.
London Wool Sales.
The wool ea'.as to-day were firm on tone. The catalogue comprised O,SOO bales. The Queen at Birmingham.
London, March 23.—The foundationstone of the now law courts to be erected at Birmingham wan formally laid by the Queen. The proceedings passed off with great dial, boundless enthusiasm being displayed by the townspeople. Colonial Banquet.
It is announced that the Colonial Office propoeos to give a banquet on 23rd April next (St. George's Day), to which the Knights and Companions of St. Micbae and St. George will be invited. The Princo of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge will be present.
