It was aleo stated that a congratulatory cubic had been sent yesterday. The German Consul, Mr Herman Brown, presided, and when dinner had been despatched ho moved tho toaat of tho evening, " The health of tho Emperor William. Mr Soegnor next proposed " Quoen Victoria, and Mr Luks "Count Yon Moltko and Prince Bismark;" tho last one moved boing " Deutschland," by Herr Carl Schmitt. A pleasant evening was thon spent convivolly.
