THE GERMAN CLUB
The membors of the German Club hold a dinnor last evoning in tho l*ark Hotel for the purpose of celebrating tho ninetioth anniversary of the birth of Kaizer William." There was an excellent spread, tho viands being preparod in Gorman stylo. A. congratulatory address artistically emblazoned and illuminated by Mr Berger, senior, and signed by all tho German. residents of the city, was exhibited prior to being forwarded to the Emperor by mail. It was aleo stated that a congratulatory cubic had been sent yesterday. The German Consul, Mr Herman Brown, presided, and when dinner had been despatched ho moved tho toaat of tho evening, " The health of tho Emperor William. Mr Soegnor next proposed " Quoen Victoria, and Mr Luks "Count Yon Moltko and Prince Bismark;" tho last one moved boing " Deutschland," by Herr Carl Schmitt. A pleasant evening was thon spent convivolly.
