FRYERS PARADOX AND JAPANESE VILLAGE.

Tins unique entertainment attracted

another crowded house last evening, every ■"

available seat in chairs, stalls, and pit

being cccupied, whilst many people

were unable to obtain accommodation.

Tho circus programme commenced punctually at 8 o'clock, and, as on the previous evening, was gone through without break or intermission of any kind. The programme was similar to that commented upon at length in our last iseue, and thero remains very little to - say in addition. - The feature of the ' circus perlormance is undoubtedly tho perfection observable in every "act,"a I failure being rendered almost impossible by i the high standard to which every performer is trained. The feats that are attempted are successfully achieved in every instance! and whilst many daring acts are done, the; are accomplished with ease and gracefulness. Even tho most timid can take pleasure in witnessing the antics of Fryer's highly-intellectual ponies, which are under the most perfect control, and provoke the most enthusiastic admiration of lady visitors. The amusing characteristics of the circus are far above the averago, ami are received with general, merriment, so that altogether the circus performance is an enjoyable one. The " Japanese Village" also attracted considerable attention, and a large number of articles manufactured there were disposed of. An-1"*, J| other performance was given this afternoOD, when there was again a good attendance. The circus and village will be open again this' evening. A complete change of programme is announced for tonight, and will doubtless have the effect of drawing a large concourse oE spectators.
