Tilß ship Kapunda, 1,095 tone, bound from London to Western Australia, collided at ?oa with eomo vestol unknown.
Tho Kapunda ajnk, and 360 of her pae songors and crew woro drowned.
A French barquo succoeded in rescuing a portion of tho crow, and brought thorn to to Bahia.
