Mendicancy.—John Casey was charged with placing himself in Bright' n Uoad, Remuera, for tho purpose ot begging. - Prisoner pleaded lot guilty.—Constable Collia (tated that ho had rociived complaints from several persons respecting the pi i'onerv— James P. King, chemist, gave ovidonco to show that prisoner was in tho habit of travelling through Kemuera soliciting alms.—His Worship discharged the prisoner with a caution. Remanded. — A charge acainst Henry Doope of failing to provide adequate means of support for his wife was adjournod till Sakirday.—Tho defendant said a soparation order between himself and his wife was executed in Melbourne some time ago.
