Bankrupt's Statement.
Joii.n Mow", hciiiK sworn, said ho hid worked al sawmills for several veins, mid having £70 ho took Messrs Miiseflolil's mill at Mcrucr on a weekly rout of 10a. Worked tho mill with Umber obtained from settlers on Uic Waiknto ltivcr. When money was gone easily (jot credit; and all went ircll £or first three months. On the fourth or filth mouth the bankrupt nought about £400 worth of logs and paid &0 in cnsli, li avinn tha balance on credit. The mill was soon after wrecked by the overflow of tho river, and caused great loss and expense by taking away tho logs. Work wus rocununeneed on the litli oi October last, when tho bankrupt had hi 3 leg broken, and was in the hospital eleven weeks, and wus not now even quitu recovered. Tho Immediate causo of filinir was the pressure of one of the creditors, to whom a debt of £35 wa sowingl.
