CITY HALL.

Till- attendance at the City Hall last evening was not very good, although a first-class programme was presented. The famous gymnast, Siguor Gonzila, was loudly applauded for his excellent performance on the^nvisible wire, and tho well-known Perrman Family delighted the audience with their grotesque acts. Tho littlo fellow particularly exhibited great skill The statuary tableaux were very effective, the followiug subjects being delineated :—Defying the Lightning, Discovery, Charity, The Boxera, Tying the Sandal, The Brothers' Quarrel, Extracting the Thorn, Dying Gladiator, Praying, Tho Death Blow, Retaliation. The thrilling act of .-Kola being fired from a monster cannon was not a complete success, as the trapezist failed to catch the interesting projectile, and she fell to tho network beneath, The following programme was gone through in "High Life on tho Seas ":—Overturo and chorus of sailors and lasses, full company ; song, "A Soldier and a Man," Mr E. Godfrey ; comic, " She Trotted Me Off to Church," Willie Perrman; ballad, •'Keep One Little Ki.s for Me," Miss Ada Clements ; patriotic Eong, " God Blees tbo Dear Old Land," Mr G. Harrison (this uong was writtsn expressly for tbis Company, and is copyrighted ; copic_ can be obtained from Mr Smith); comic, " The Lime Kiln Club," Johnny Collins ; ballad, "The Old Wooden Rocker," Misa Amy de Courcey ; triple song and dance, " Coming Home from Meeting," Mips Bella Perrman, Miss Laura Roberts, and Wiliie Perrman ; song, " Bid Me Good-bye and Go," Mies Glendenning ; song, " The Old Corporal," by the midget comedian, Arthur Perrman; marching song, "The Dashing White Sergeant," Miss Glendenning ; and serio-comic song, " Ain't it Funny," Miss Laura Roberts (encored). The amusing farce, " Darwin's Mi.aing Link," concluded the performance. ]
