AN inquest was to have been hoid at four o'clock this afternoon on tho body of tho uewly-born female child of paionts named Iveofc, tho father being barman at the Anchor Hotel. Tho cause of death is belieyec1 to be hemorrhage, caused by tho nival string not being properly tied. A midwiie attended at tho birth, but thoro was no medical man prc?ont. Dr. J.atvson was Kubsequontly sent for, but the child was dead when ho arrived.
