John Cal-roy, in chargo of Constable May and an escort, arrived by tho mail coach from Fernmont to-day. Caffrey has admitted all particulars of tbo murder at Great Barrier Island, and states that on leaving Now Zealand he tried to make for South America. Adverse winds, howovor, necessitated his sailing for Australia. The police are still searching tho coast. Caffroy possesses a groat liking for Perm, and talks freely about the case. , PENN AND LIZZIE GRAHAM. Perm, the accomplice of Caffroy, and Lizzie Graham wore living togethor in a font on the shore near Port Macquariefor five weeks after tbe wreck of tho Sovereign of the Seas. Extradition ol the Prisoners.

Tho steamer Waihora, which loft thin port last evening with Detective Tuohy and Constables Macky and Carrol, is expected to arrive at Sydney on Monday morning next. Thia will allow tho police four clear days in which to transact all busihess in connection with the extradition of Caffrey, Perm, and Li mo Graham in time to return with tho prisoners by tho same steamer, which loaves Sydney again on the 21st, and is due to arrive here on the 26th instant. Captain Popham, commander of the Waihora, has received instructions from Colonel Whit-more to keep Caffrey and Perm in irons throughout the passage. If the stoamor arrives here at night, she will come up to tho Queen-street Wharf as usual, and the prisoners will be landed there; but should she arrive in the daytime, which is more probable, she will be met off the North Head by a steam launch, which will take tho police and prisoners on board and land them at Kohimarama, whence they will proceed to Mount Eden Gaol in a conveyance. ■ Inspector Thompson jesterday took out a warrant for tbe apprehension of Lizzie Graham as an accessory after the act, and cabled to Sydney asking for her detoution until the arrival of the Auckland police authorised to execute the warrant. Mr Brassoy, solicitor, has been retained hv the relotives of the man Taylor, who was murdered at the Great Barrier, to prosecute Caffroy and Ponn, in conjunction with the Crown Prosecutor. . . .....
