The report on the Girls High School presented the Board of Education today recommended that Miss E. G. Wallace be appointed second assistant teacher, and Miss R M, Matthews 3rd assistant teacher at present salary : also that Miss _Ellen Simpson's salary be increased from £S0 to £1(0 per annum, that Annie C. Morrison's scholarship terms be extended, and that_ no appointment be made to fill the position of French mentor vacated by Mr Villeval. The report was adopted.
