To-day, Mrs E'lieon, tho nuiee, was lurthor examined, but her evidence only referred to tho battles given by her to Dr. Mclntyre at his requott. ,
Mr Joynt did not cross-examine,
Mr Hay cross-examined concerning the placing of th« icewatfir in the bedroom, but did not elibil Anything now, and. tho ovidonee given was not shaken. Witness denied that Mr Ball asked Mies Houston to tat-to tho icewater because it was nasty.
Dr. Maclntyre, recalled, gave evidence that Mrs Hall was not strong ououj'h to attond the Court for at least ten days or a fortnight. Mr White asked for a remnfid, which the Court granted till Saturday next, with the understanding that,there would bo a further adjournment till the following Monday or Tuesday.
Tho bearing of the charge of forgery against Hall will be taken on Wednesday and Thursday next. Fivo informations have been laid, and more are oxpected.
