Athens, August 29.—An earthquake, caubing great destruction of property and loss of life, occurred at I'hiliatras, a town on tho south-wost coast of Grace, in tho provinco of Morea. Fully three hundred porsons arc known to havo perished.

Alkxandiua, August 28th.— Several sovoro shocks of earthquako havo been experienced in various parts of Egypt.

Homh, August 2S.—Uoports to hand from sovoral towns of Italy state that heavy oarthquako shocks were felt during yesterday.
