Wanted Some Culture.
A fLEKi;v.man of a certain city was advising tonic humble members of his flock, not loner since, to try and acquire more politojiess and relinoment of manner and to cultivate their montal faculitios. In tho course of his remarks he paid there wcra several kinds of culture, and he laid particular stress upen Bo;t)nnnd Philadelphia culture. He said thin both wore excellent in thtir way. Among the crowd that was passing out whon the services woro over were two Hibernian dames of tho never-leave otr-your-shawl variety, and one said to tho otkor : "I d'no wf'cro do you gofc this culture, at all, at all ; bedad, I'd .liko to get ?omc ! D'ye think they have it at Noonan's?" Baked beans havo long been on salo in Boston, but it haa not been popu'oriy eupposed that " culchur" could be bought with a prayer-book, or even with a volume of Browning.
