On June 4, at the annual meeting of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Mr A. Buckland presiding), tho roport and balance-shoot wero adopted. Mr Buckland was elected President for tho ensuing yo»r,Mrßainbridgo Vice-Prosidont, and Mr A. Anderson Treasurer. Regret was expressed at the death of Mr b. Morrin, one of the membors of cominittoo. The old committee, with that exception, were reelected, and Messrs Ryburn, (!. Roberts, Massey, James Wallaco, Robert Wallace, and Woymouth wore added. It was resolved to hold a ploughing match under tho auspices of tho Association, and n committeo, consisting of Messrs Bainbridgo, C Roberts, A. Anderson, Ryburn, R. Wallace, and J. Wills, was appointed to make tho necessary arrangomonts. As tho funds of tho Association would not allow of prizemoney boing voted, a subscription for that purpose was oponed at tho meeting, and was generously responded to
