Serious Accident at Karaugahake.

Thames, this day. A serious accident happened yesterday to William Turner, employed in the erection of a new battery at Karangahake, through a log falling upon him. He sustained extensive contusions on the chest and a fracture of the base of the skull. His recovery is considered doubtful.
