She left Wellington at 3.15 StKj * Saturday last, and experienced strong h!?_2 i 39 the westward till last evening, when ■>M Wim' ''ied away, and calm prevailed thence up f her -'•ival, as above. The Rimutaka aropped Bltkar in the stream, to wait for high water m o.aetto berth at the end of the Railway wharf. The Rimutaka brings 40 first-class, 40 second-class, and 40 third-class passengers from Louthern ports in transit for London, and also wo following coastal passengers :—Mr and Mrs U oster, Mr Gibbs, Captain Rose, Mrs Rutherford andchild, Miss Johnson, Mr and Mrs Schrimski, Airs Turpin, Miss Glenny, Mr O'Nerodigate, Dr Nesbitt, Mr Paget, Messrs Young (2), and Bangi. The Rimutaki will remain here until Thursday, at 2p.m., when she will leave for London direct. Her cargo from this port will include : —30,000 lbs, of frozen meat, 300 sacks grass seed, 30 bales wool, 110 tierces beef, and sundries.
