The prize-firing was resumed on Saturday last, with tbo results appended. A number of civilians were on tho range, and Col. Lyon and Major Shepherd were alao presont.
PONSONIIV RIKI.ES V. PONBONBV NAVALS.— A friendly match botween the above companies for a email caso of ammunition was fired at the Cox's Creek Range on Saturday last under the supervision of Captain McDonald, Ponsonby Rifles, and Captain Morpeth, Ponsonby Navals, and resulted in a victory for tbo Ponsonby Rifles by 6'J points. After the match was completed. Captain ilcDonald intimated that there would bo drill on Tuesday, 27th met.. at the Ponsonby Hall, when ho wishod all to attend.
