The Bad and Worthless

are never imitated or counter/cited. This i_ especially true of a family medicine, and it is poaiti ye proof that the remedy imitated is of the highest value. As soon as it had beon tested and proved by the wholo world that Hop Bittcre was the purest, best, and most valuable family medicine on earth, many imitations sprung up. and bogan to steal tho notices in which thcPres. and the"peoplo of the country had expressed the merits of H. 8., and in every way trying to induce anflfering invalids to use their Btufl instead, expecting to make money on the credit <nd good name of H. B. Many others started nostrums put up in similar style to 11. 13., with va.-ioualy devised namea in which the word " Hop " or " Hope " were uaed in a way to induce Ecople to believe they were the same as Hop litters. All such pretended remedies or cures, no mattor what their style or name ia, and especially thoao with the word "Hop" or " Hops " in their name or in any way connected with them or their name, are imitationa or counterfeits. Beware of them. Touch none of them. Uae nothing but genuine American Hop Bittera, with a bunch or cluster of green Hop 3 on the white label, and Dr. Soulo's name blown in the glass. Trust nothing olae. Druggists and Chemists are warned against dealing in imitations or counterfeits.
