Saturday's Cricket Matches.
Gordon v. Auckland.-This match resulted in a decided victory for Gordon, The first inniugs of tho latter club had realised 151, and Auckland's first venture only produced 99, towards which O'Brion, 23, Coxon, 16, Dewes, 14, and Tamlin, 10, wore chiof contributore. Gordon lost threo wickets for 40 in tho Bocond innings, VV. Meldrum assisting with 15.
Ouu Boys v. West End.—This match resulted in favour of Our Boys by 17 runs on the first innings. Our Boys' first innings score was 75, of which Brown, not out, made 14, and E. T. Mills, 10. -Woßt End made 58, Arneil being top Bcorer with 14.—Our Boys in their Bocond innings lost six wickets for 122. Tho best scores wore : VV. Ttipley, not out, 35 ;G. Walker, 22; Berry and Gardiner, 20 oach ; and T. Brown, 14.
United v MswtON,— This match was not resumed, so that United gains a win on the first innings. Junior Matches.—West End second inflicted on Hollands the. first defeat which that club has sustained this season, boating them by 19 runs. Carlton defeated 1, Zingari Second by 12 runs in the first innings,
