Mr Legge and Trent Brothers.
With reference to the telegram read by Mr Jowitt at the meeting of Mr Legge'sj creditors, from Trent Brothers, of Christ church, stating that they would not prove on the estate, but would probably take criminal proceedings, Mr Legge has shown us a telegram from Trent Brothers, in which they state that they desire to have no interference with Jowitt and party, and that Mr Jowitt had no authority from them to act. Tbey had refused to give a proxy.
George Beaumom, butcher, was thrown from his horse yesterday, and was conveyed to the Hospital. This afternoon he is dome well, and hia injuries aro not of a dangerous character.
