ATHLETIC TOURNAMENT.
Tukre is on exhibition to-day in the Queonstreet window of Mr Smith, tobacconist, eight handsome gold medals mado by Mr Kohn.totheorderofMeesrsFaganandFoloy. These medals are intended for presentation at the forthcoming athletic tournament, which commences on the evening of the 30th of December, and continues for three nights in the new athletic hall at the bottom of Grey-street. The medals aro worked in a neat design of einglo Maltose and double crosses, and on the face are engraved figuree of men engaged in various athletic contests. During to-day the medals attracted an amount of interest, the general opinion being that they were woll worth winning. Entries for the contests must be made not later thaa 10 p.m. on the 2. 4 th .»* «* tho Masonic Hotel, Princes street.
