Mr Gladstone announces that the article published in yostorday's "Pall Mall Gazette "is without foundation. He doniee tho existence of any such scheme as that attributed by tho writer of tho article, and disavows any intention of acting aa indicated therein. Mr Gladstones takes tho opportunity of stating that announcements in the newspapers at present relative to the line of policy ho has determined to adopt aro more conjectures, as he has not yet mode known his intentions to anyone. London, December 19. Tho "Times" to-day states that Mr Gladflfcono has submitted to Her Majesty the Queen a plan for the re-establishment of the Irish Parliament, and further announces that Her Maiosty has referred tho scheme to Hor Ministers for approval. » [special to press association.] London, December 19. The •'Times,'' in an article on Mr Gladstone's policy, says that tho conscience of tho country is deeply shocked at his conversion, which might load to the disruption of the Empire, and tho article urges the moderate Tories (? Liberals) to reject tho proposals. Mr ©'Connor, M.P., in an address to tho electors, states that nothing short of tho liberties extended to Canada will satisfy the Irish people.
