VOLUNTEER NOTES.
Tin: Engineer Volunteers had a full muster last evening in the Drill shed, tinder command of Major Anderson, assisted by Lioutenant McCollough. Sergeant-Major Nellie put the Company through a course of exercises in a very efficient manner.
At tho monthly inspection of the Auckland Nnviils last night, Seaman J. Harvey, having passed tho necossary examination, was elected a potty officer of the corps. It was agreed that the Coastguards should be allowed to drill with the Company for tho future There was a fine muster of 74 at tho parade.
