Wellington, this day. In accordance with the proposal made last session, the Government are arranging for the oatablishmont of an Agricultural Department, and the organisation of this branch has been placed in the handa of Mr Walter I). Reeves, farmer in flawke's Bay and South Canterbury districts. Mr Beevos, who iesaid to be quite an export in agricultural work, has submitted to the Government a valuable report on tho agricultural products shown at tho late Exhibition.
