Negotiations for the formation of a new Ministry aro still In progress, and thore aro rumours of a divergence pf o .j^f]'W among tho leaders of ILv t/umjervativo party,.it being stated that Lord Randolph Churchill and Sir Michael Hicks-Beach aro opposed to tho inclusion of Sir Stafford Northcoto in tho administration, as wished by Lord Salisbury.
A. spocial mossago to the Proas Association says that Sir Stafford Northcota will probably be raised to tho peerage.
