Tub roport which appealed in our Inst issue of tho fuooral of the lato Mr Sheohan was so full and complete that there is littlo need of amplification. Ono or two additional details may bo stated. In recognition ef Mr Sheohan'e former position as _.ative and Do fence Minlstor, thepolice, tothonumberof 30, wero present under tho command of Superintendent Thomson, nnd they presented a striking appearance, as at tho hoad of the procession thoy marchod in opon order, Sergeant Qamblo acting as colour-sorgeant in heading tho column. In tho van of tho foot mourners marched 43 members of the Ancient Order of Druids, undor District President Alfred Kidd, the officers being conspicuous by their craped regalia. The Druids was the only friondly Socioty of which tho docoosod had beon a member, and the local mombors attendod by request. Wo append tho names of tho principal mourners:—Messrs William P. Wilson, Messrs Jackson Palmer, William Shanaghan, Michael Shea, Uiehard Graham, Robort Graham, R. Currick, John Roilly, Fitzgibbon Louch (Tauranga), A. Brodie (Thames County Council), I■. Darby, W. J. Spoight, R. A. Shorriii, Hugh Mellhono, Spragg, Dr. Leo, Captain Blake, I'otor Dignan, H. Williamson (Crown I'rosocutor), D. Denntngham, I). A. Tolo (Crown Lands Commissioner), B. Fi Tolo, Majors Green and Jackson, Mr Moody, J.P., and family, J. Lundon, 11, llnrdlngton, J, Larkins, P. Brophy. Sir I. Whitaker was accommodated with a seat in ono of tho carriages assigned tho clergy, Mr Justice Gillies attended In bis private carriago, and among the mourners on foot wo noticed Mopsrs J. C. Firth, P. Comlskoy, John Buchanan, W. S. Wilson, and many other old colonists, and leading citizens. By a stupid typographical error In our last issue, "Mr \V P. Shoohan (doceasod's brother)" was transformed into "Mrs W. P. Shoehan (doceasod's mother)."
