THE TARAWERA.

The s.s. Tarawera, Captain Sinclair, from Sydney, arrived at Queen-street Whaif to-day at 1.30 p.m. She left Sydney at 5 p.m. on the 29th ult., and encountered moderate head-wind from E. to E.N.E. throughout the passage. Passengers :-Mr and Mrs Richardson, Mrs and Master Wood, Mr, Mrs, and Mlsb Hay, Mr and Mrs Wilson, Captiln Petersen, Messrs Bloom, Dignan (2), Mason, Bennett, and 23 in the steerage. We are indebted to Mr D. Dalgleish, purser, for press parcels, reports, &c.
