Wanganui, Monday. Tho Wanga'nuiSteeplechaseMeeting came off today. There was a fair attendance. The following are the results :—

Mr Bayley's Caoutchouc (Edgecombe)... 2 Mr Russell's Billy-go-by-'em (owner) ... 3 Aleoran : Totera (lOst 121b), Macaroni (12at 71b), Nukurau (lOst 41b), Diomedes (lOet 4lb), Awaroa (lOet 41b), Speculation (lOst 41b), Gloncoo (lOst 41b). Druid was the favourite, Timo, 7min. 6sec. Totalisator dividend, £3 10s. _
Maiden Steeplechase. Mr A. Bayley's Caoutchouc, 12st 31b Mr J. Stevotts'H Dioratdes, 12st 31b
Mr D. Scott's Abolition, 12st 31b
Nukurau, Path6nder, Canary, and Gipsy also ran. Totalisator dividend, £8. Won easily by two lengths,
Grand Stand Steeplechase, Billy-go-by-'em ..
Pathfinder
Rambler
Caoutchouc (12st), Kbony (lOst 81b), Totara (llßt 41b), Macaroni (12st 71b), and Glencoe (lOst) also started. Won by four lengths, Time, Imin. 55sec. Totalisator dividend, £16 7s.
Waitangi won tho Hack Steeplechase, beating four others, and the Handicap Hack Steeplechase fell to Fouatawata.
