AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB'S SPORTS.
These sports should havo the effect of at trading a large assemblage of both sexes to the Domain to-morrow afternoon. Tho pro gramme is a first-class one, and promises capital amusement of a varied character. There are numerous entries for the footraces, and exciting contests are pretty certain to be the rosult. A nev. and interesting feature at the sports will bo the bicyclo races, which includo events to decido the ten-mile and three-mile championships, and also a maiden race. It is a matter for congratulation that tho Club has been reorganised under such favourable auspices, and it is to bo hoped that the publio will show their appreciation cf organisations of this kind, which havo fcr their aim the development of tho musclo and stamina of our young mon, by attending in largo numbers. The club certainly commends itself to the support of thoso who advocate healthy and moral amusement for tho young men of our community. Thero ia considerable speculation in sporting circles respecting the probable rosult of tho races. Lecky appears to be most fancied for the Mile, Brannd for tho Maiden, Woods or Symo for the 120 yds, Gould for tho Hurdles, Davy for tho Quartor-mile, and Davy for the 220 yds. It is, however, a most difficult matter to select the most likely men.
