Martha Extended (Waihi).—Prospecting operation i beneath the lowest level are giving exceedingly promising roturns. A winze has bean sunk to a depth of 45 feet, and it is report :d that gold is quite as plentiful in the quartz as ovorhoad, if not more so. Tiie reef has beon proved to oxer 3d 16 feet in width. Tbo mar iger has Htaucd an intermediate drive upon its course.
