Thames, this day. Cambria—Last week's crushing operations resulted in tho return of 3570z5. of amalgam from 88 loads of quartz. Tho manager has now 1,1280z5. amalgam in the bank, besidea nearly 4cwt. of specimens, and the monthly 'cleaning will take place °n j ( ur uday> A con*^=t will be let at the end of the weeu for extending the oroescut towards the lode, which is estimated to be 240 ft distant. The work will be pertormed at the joint expense of the Darwin and Cambria Companies, but it ia considered probable that the latter will extend a branch drive to facilitate communication with tho winze.
New Prince Imperial.—About 151bs. of good picked stone have beon obtainod from the western stopes at No. 6 level. Deep Level Cross—The drive started by the Saxon Company on No. 2 lode ut No. 6 level has crossed the boundary, and is being continued on this Company's account. :
Saxon.—Jn sinking the ehaft a body of quartz has been struck, which the manager believes to be No. 2 lodo. Tho stone does not contain visible gold.
