Moderate weather continued to the moridian of Ureunwich, which was reached on 11th October in lat. 37deg. S., CC days out; then had strong N.W. winds. Crossed the meridian of Good Hopn in j?.lcg. So\ith. Han down the ttustintrs in jr,dcfr.. s.r,d from -l-'tlcg. South had unsettled weather from all peints of tho compass. Ronndod Louwin on lUth Novomber, and from there had moderate weather and winds from X.W. The Loch Fergus was four daya off tho coast with light easterly winds, and arrived this morning. Sho brings only one passenger, viz., Mr R. R. Pateraon. The barque Christine arrived from Java on Nov. 23 with raw sugar for tho Now Zealand Sugar Company. Sho left Java on Septoinuer l(i; strong S.S.K. trades prevailed to lat. 2(i- S., long. 110-' IC, when variable winds and calms were fallen in with; N.K. winds were then met with, and continued until the 9th of November, when tho Straits wera cleared, After that strong southerly gales' prevailed for four days, during which largo bodies of wator wore frequently shipped, and calms and easterly winds were experienced thenco till arrival.
