Mayo; collection of native plants and flowers, Miss Speight; New Zealand mounted feme, Eric Craig; ornamental vases, Mrs Malcolmson ; collection of vegetables, Gardiner; collection of seeds, T. Stendnmn and Co. and A. Yates; Hay and Son highly commended for pot plants. R. Parr got lirst prize for a dish of six apples. Mr C. T. Wren was awarded a certificate of merit for a collection of garden appliances for protective purposes from birds, destruction of insect pests, secatures, syringes, wire protectors, gas heating apparatus for greennpuFe, and special mention waa made of a new and rare plant of the mallow species, entitled larolera arborca variegated.
