St. Jacob's Oil Invincible.
(To the Editor of Evening Star.) Dear Sir,—l wish to add my testimony to tho efficacy of the great German remedy, St. Jacob's Oil. Your columns have contained, from time to time, expressions of gratitude from persons of known respectability, aDd having satisfied myself of the genuineness of the cures effected, I obtained a bottle, scarcely hoping it would succeed in relieving me, For the past seven months I have suffered severely from a painful attack of sciatica, which, in spite of the most able treatment on the part of my medical adviser, continued to hold its own in ay system. My sleep at last began to be affected, and my whole system very much reduced. The most careful treatment failed to give me relief, and I then applied nearly every advertised remedy. The sciatica was principally located in my left thigh, and tlie pain at times was most excruciating. In spite of tho most thorough applications, and the greatest care and attention on my part, • obtained no appreciable relief, and at last, a*.. 9 forlorn hope, I determined to apply St Jacoba Oil, and frcm that time the pain began to diminish. Uy sleep soon returned, and each application afforded me relief. At first I regarded tke cessation from pain as only a temporary one, scarcely daring to hopo that the cure was complete; but I havo gratefully to acknowledge that I am now free from pain-in fact, a man again. I must corfess t'nat I tried the Oil in abso lute despiir. I had had no sleep for three or four nights previously, and my system was very low. Tte success, however, is complete, and I again tender my grateful acknowledgments to the proprietors of the Oil, and shall ever continue to reconmend it to every sufferer who comes within range of my influence. What medical skill fsiled to do St. Jacob's Oil effected, and I regan? it as tne greatest boon of the age. I am, dear Sir, -..- [ Yours faithfully, j John Lee. Ashbourne, Mudgee, November 12,1883.
