Horses: There were bui few shipborne horses; ha usual, those of a good stamp sold well, but Indifferent descriptions were relatively lower. At the Durham Yards on Friday there were above an average number of entries; the demand was fitful, and several horses sold relatively higher than others. We quote hocks from £6 to £17 10s; light harness horses from £U to £18; medium draught, £t2 to £30. Wool, hides, and skins: Supply limited; wool sold at from 33d to s)d; hides from 2*d to 31d per lb.; skins, 9d to 2s Jd; tallow, 25s Gd per owt. Cattle: The supply of rat and dairy stock has been a full one, and an adequate number of stores were yarded. The Newmarket sale yardn. on Tuesday, worn wJI supplied, and the demand wasspirited throughout for all descriptions of stock- Values for fat beasts receded alto 3*o*, but for dairy stock advanced B«<>™a* were unaltered; Sheep wore ButflcioD* cot requirements, and were well competed for; price had a slightly upward tendency. Lambs scarce, and sold at 13s Gd to 16a M. Pigs: Few yarded ; prices in favour of vendor. An unsatisfied demand remains. BANKS AND CO.'S RBPOBT. At Parawal on Thursday the number of fat

cattle yarded exceeded that of any market w« have yet had, the whole being cleared at very satisfactory rates. Thirty-two head from 3. .McLuro, Tauranga. brought from 66 for light cows of good quality, to £912s Gd forbontsteere, H/OcaUy fatted cows and steers, £5 to £9 ss; being equal to 24s per lOOlbs for best sort; 20s and upwards for a few second rate. Sheep were also in very large supply. A draft of inferior ewes made 7b 3d each; 10 mixed ewes and wethers, Us; 120 flrst-elass wethers from the Auckland Agricultural Company, 16s to 18s 3d ; lambs, 8s to 13s; well-bred young store pigs, 17s $o 21s each.
