MEETING OF CREDITORS OF MR LIONEL PHILIPS.

A meeting of ths creditors of Mr Lionel Phillips, wine merchant, was held this afternoon, at three o'clock. There was a large number of gentlemen more or less interested present. The expenses for house and office appeared to be about £21 per week from the time ho began business. Mr A. H. Nathan said there was considerable dissatisfaction outside in the city. The debtor appeared to lose in aenp, and some creditors seemed to think this was a species of gambling for a business man.
