Thames, this day. Thbbb is some excitement at Te Aroha and Paeroa to-day, consequent on a rich discovery of gold by Mr Hunt, formerly of the Shotover, at Rotokuhu, about ton milo3 below Te Aroha. Mr Hunt has fonuH a reef quite dUtinot from anything previously discovered, showing very coarse gold. Particulars to-morrow.
