The proportion of reserve to liabilities has advanced to 47 per cent. New Zealand securities : Tho 5 per cent. 10-40 loan has advanced by 10s, to 103 ; the 5 per cent. 188'J loan has advanced 20s, to 105; the 4£ per cent. 1879-1904 loan has advanced 10s, to 100A, c.v div; 4 per cent, inscribed stock remains at 100. Colonial breadstuffs and (allow remain at last quotations. Tho quantity of wheat afloat is 1,810,000 quarters. The wool market is quiet. Arrivals to date for next auction amount to 120,000 bales.
