Dunedin Races.

These races on Saturday closed amid a heavy downpour of rain. The following are the results of the events run after we went to press:

The F_yi.vg Handicap of lOOsovs. was won by Nonsense, Tim Whifller being second and Minerva third. The Benevolent Scurry was won by Jennie out of a field of eight, but thoro was a small dividend. TheCoN.soLATioN Handicap, SOsovs., was won by Hippodamia easily. Eight started, tho best known of which were Minerva, Holderness, and Marchioness Neil. About £7,000 went through the totalisator during the day, bringing up a total for the three days of A' 27,000.
