Thames, this day.—A young man named Bernard Farley, an immigrant by the Doric, was severely injured in a quarry at Parawai by a fall of earth to-day, having a portion of the muscle torn from his left arm.

Wr.Lf.i.s'dToN, this day.—Advices have been received that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.'s chartered steamer Florida, 3.13S tons, was to leave London for Wallington and Otago on 10th January.
Wreck of a Cutter.
Wkllixcton-, this day. — Tho cutter Agnes, Captain Borgo, owned at Kaiapoi, has been totally wrecked on Mana Island. The crew escaped with great difficulty. The vessel was bound to llavelock.
