Talebearer and Charmer, after a preliminary gallop, covered tho Welcome Stakes distance at a clinking pace in capital form, and the Miss Watersprito colt went once round, tho last half-mile very fast. Tasman went once round at a moderate pace, and was joined by Siesta, the pair going 1£ mile at top speed. Lady Emma and Lady Eyelyn did amiloanda half gallop, finishing fast. Adamant went twice, and Prospect once round at threequarters speed. The _"oet did a stron<* gallop of two. miles; Jilt once rounS steadily, and Minerva three-quarters of a mile, moving very well.
