Tho Bhlp Hermiono was signalled early yestorday morning, but owing to the prevalence of unfavourable weather, sho droppod anchor oif Rangitoto Reef during tho afternoon, and came up the harbour to-day. Hor paesago has occuSlod 95 days from London and 84 days •om tho Channel. Captain Roberts, who again arrives in command of tho Hermiono, reported having left East India Docks on July 11, and towed to Gravcsend. Left Gravcsend on the 12th, and tho Downs at C a.m. on tho llth. Was In company with tho ship 1 .eiono off Bccchy Hoad at noon on tho 16th, and on tho lflth had the ships Ploiono and Hurunul in company off Eddystono. On the .oth cleared tho Channel, with wind frosh from N.W. by W. Passed Madeira on July 28th, aftor which tho N.E. trades wero picked up and carried to 13dog. 15mln. N„ 25 W., on August sth. Crossed tho Equator on August llth in 17 deg. 41 W.,and had good S.F.trodes to 20deg. S. The meridian of Greenwich was passed on Sept. 3. after which strong westerly winds prevailed till the Ith. Tasmania was passed on Octobor sth, and Threo Kings sighted on tho llth inst. Passed Capo Brett at 2 a.m. next day, and was threo miles off Tiritiri on Saturday last. Head-reaching undor stonii canvas until daylight/- estorday. Recoived pilot at 2._0 p.m., and anchored hi Rangitoto Channol at 5.25 p.m. on tho Bamo day.
