At Waiuku on Saturday last there «as a larger muster of cattle than for many months, and all found ready buyers among the settlers of tho district at satisfactory rn-ices. At the Remuera cattle fair on Wcdnesdaj, about nine hundred head woro sold, and of theso fully six hundred were steers between three and live years old. Yearlings and cahes were in much less number than usual, and not many cows were yarded. A few young bulls sold fairly well. Cowa were at late prices. Calves and yearlings advanced in price over late markets from 5s to 10s each, but grown steers wero at low relative values. \ cartings ranged from 3Us to las, and one pen reached £3 Two-year-olds wero but little hotter worth. Three-year-olds, from £3 to £Uos; four-year-olds, £3 10s to £1 Ills. The highest price obtained being £5 15s for well-bred five-year-old steers in frcsli condition. At Remuera on Thursday dairy cows wero numerous, and maintained their price. Store cattle in average supply and slightly better worth than at the salo of yesierday. HUNTEU AND NOLANS WEEKLY REI'OKT. Horses: A good many havo again been brought forward, and found purchasers at about the previous week's rates. At the Durham Yards on Friday, a large number were submitted to auction. Competition was good, ami sales were effected in almost every case, and there was no alteration in prices. Hides, skins, wool and tallow: More than the usual number wero pitched at tho Durham \ arils on Tuesday, and though they were without exception, all in good condition, they were light in woight, and sold proportionately low. Wo quote: Hides, 2Jd to 2|d; skins, 2a Id to 4a id ; wool, si|d; tallow, 28s per cwt. Cuttle: There has been rather nioro than (.no usual number of s'toro stock brought forward at Newmarket this week, but dairy cows hnvo been scarco, and not of as good quality as usual. Beef, equal to requirements, sold at from 'lbs to 2Ss 6(1 per lOOlbs. At Pukokohe on Wednesday, there was about tho usual number of store stock penned, principally yearlings and two-year-old cattle, and prices showed an upward tendency. Wo quote yearlings from *1 Gs to £1 15s; two-year-old stcera, £2 los to £4; throe-year-old steers, £4 lls to j5 lis; helfors, •3 to £3 15s Gd. Sheep: Tho yards were well filled on Tuesday with botli store and fat. Most of those lit for the butcher were shorn, and Bold at corresponding prices. We quote wethers in wool, 19s to £1 is Ikl; shorn, las to 19a 9d; atoro wethers, lls Gd to Us Gd. Lambs, very few penned, and sold at lls to 17s Gd. Pigs: A good number brought forward from tho coast, and both fat and storo mot a ready market, and prices woro in favour of vendors: stores, 2Jd to ;id ; fat, 3Jd to l*d per lb., live weight.

HANKS AND CO.'B WEEKLY RKI'ORT. At Parawni on Thursday, fat cattlo wero not so numerous as usual, but those yarded being of extra weights, tho trade was amply supplied. 20 Napier oxen averaged £10 6s, or its per lOOlbs. Sheep were in usual supply ; medium wethers in wool making 18a Gd to 10s Cd. Lambs were short of requirements. Those oll'ercd wero good, and Brought 12s !)d to lGs each.
