Passengers: Messrs If, E. Jones, Jenning, Ngaro, and Kopitu. The s.s. Glenelg left Tauranga at 4.10 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Auckland at C a.m. to-day. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Minchin nnd child, Mr and Mrs Wrigloy, Miss Maunsell, Misa McCormick, Mrs Parkinson, Mrs Kooncy, Messrs Burko, Lang, England, Lee Sing, Mackay, Pludell, Judge, Wilson, Frasor, Crook. Cargo : 150 sacks maize, 5 sacks gypsum.

Tha steamers Omaporo and Glenelg. having loft Tauranga last ovening, both bound for this port, an interesting race was anticipated. At 3.15 tho Omapere got undoi-weigh, and 55 minutos later the Glenelg followed. Both steamers appeared round the North Head at 6 o'clock this morning, and came up the harbour together, so that thoso who were on the Glenolg claim having beaten the Oinapero by nearly an hour. Experienced fine j weathor up to arrival. Passengers—Mossrs 4, Wood, Ngata, Bourko, Stnpng, Grey, and Gold--1 smith. The s.s. Omapero Arrives in charge of Captain Hutchlnson, who loaves her in Auckland to join the s.f. Suva—Captain Allman, of the Southern Cross, taking his place. We are indebted to Mr Jas.
