ALFRED BUCKLAND'S WEEK-Y REPORT. The sale at the Haymarket on Friday, September 7, was fully supplied v.-ith fodder. Prices ranged from 3s Od to 8s 6d tho cwt.; oats, from 2b 2d to 2s Sd tho bushel; maize, 3s 2d to 2s lid the bushel; inforior boneelust, £5 '2s 6d tho ton. Horse stock were plentiful, and in good demand, at higher rates throughout than have been obtained for many weeks. At tlie hide and skin sale on Tuesday, hides ranged from 2Jd to Lljd the lb ; tallow, from &■ to £l fs the lOOlbs : butchers' skins from 3s Od to 3s lid each ; station skins, from Is lOd upwards. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were dull of sale, prices ranged from £■'> to £7 ; store cattle in—ctter inquiry; fat cattle in full number with a brisk demand. A lew of choice eiiiality and light weight brought CI 7s Od and the average of the market was -I as the lOOlbs. Waikato averages were—9 bead o-cn, W. Taylor, £9 lis ; 21 steers, Waikato Land Association, £9 103 ; 7 steers, W. Taylor, £9 is ; 16 steers, C. J. Storey, £815s ;7, Jas. Taylor, £3 iss ; 8 cows, H Gorman, £5 0s b'd. Sheep wero in moderate supply, anel, if well fatted in demand at full values, but inferior sheep were dull of sale.

MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S WEEKLY REPORT. Horses: There has been an increased supply, and corresponding demand, and prices ruled in ' favour of the vendor as compared with the last ' few weeks. The number submitted was consielorably ovor the average, amongst which were two small shipments from the West Coast. Competition was good throughput I the sales, and lots were cleared. No horses I of a first-class stamp were submitted, but ' hacks sold at from £o 12s Od to £11; medium draught from £18 to *25; active spring cart or omnums, £'— 10s to £30. Wool, hides, and skins: A fair number of hides were pitched, but of indifferent description. Prices ranged from 2Jd to 25el • skins, from 7s to Is 21. Cattle: Tho improved demand has continued, anel for all descriptions an advanced iate was given. There was a good muster at Newmarket on Tuesday, and at Pukekohe on Wednesday tho demand was brisk, and prices, were decidodly in favour of vendors, as compared with tho previous. We quote tlairy cows from £6 10s to £10. Boot fluctuated from 24s to 28s per lOOlbs; yearling steors from 25s to 355; dry cows from £2 03 to £317s 6d; two-year-old steers, £215s to £3 ss. Sheep: Tho Newmarket Yards.on Tuesday wero well filled, and there was spirited competition throughout tho sale. Wethers ranged from 16s to 22s Od each; ewes, lis 6d; lambs, 9s 9d to .Is. Pigs: A good many were yarded, and somo of vory good description. Prices ranged from 3d to od por lb. I Messrs J. and E. Loydon report this day's sale: Unusually brisk, being keen in every articlo olt'ercd. Household furniture (new), consisting of Mirrors, Couches, Sofa, Tables (oblong anel round), Iron Bedsteads (singlo or double), Spring MauraS3es, Palliasses, Cane and Stuffed-bottomed Chairs, sold freely at prices ovor the reserves. Dairy-fed bacon fetched from 6d to 7el; Canterbury bacon and ham, 9Jd to lOJel; Oamaru potatoes, rt '0s per ton; tea. Is 8d alb (in 121b boxes, New Season s, ex Hoihow. Flour and soap at makers' prices.
