Drunk.—Rachel Volan, alias Blue-stocking, and Jamos Colly, wore punished for this offenoo. Tho fomalo priaonor was ordored to pay £5, or in dofanlt, 14 days' imprisonment.

Pcoir.iSTio. —James Pollock, described as a butcher, and Henry Macintosh, were charged under tho Vagrant Aot with fighting at tho bar of tho Auckland Hotel on tho 12th inst.—Prisoners ploadod guilty.— Sergeant White called tho attention of the Court to tho numerous convictions against Pollock.—Samuol Keys, barman, described tho scono. Pollock camo in and knocked Macintosh's hot off, and struck Mrs Macintosh. Her husband intorfored in dofonco. Pollock was the aggressor, and tho solo cause of tho disturbance.—Tho Bonch discharged Macintosh, and ordered Pollock to pay 20s and costs, or 14 days. Larcencies—Robert Golding, a young man, was charged with the larceny of a watch, chain, and pendant, valus £15, on the 21st September, tho property of John Boyd Gilfillan, of Kybor Pass; also, with breaking and entering the premises of John Gilmour, draper, of Upper Symonds-street, on tho 13th of July, and feloniouslyvtaklng therefrom 18 pairs of trousers, 57 pairs of socks, 12 shirts, 84 scarfs, 13 hats, 3 coats, 2 boxes handkerchisfs, and a pair of gold earrings, value £39 3s.—Mr Jackson appeared in defence, and fts ho had only just boon instructed in tho case, asked for a remand. —Sergeant yVhito said all the witnesses were presont, but if necessary he would not oppose the application.—Ra- ' manded until Tuesday next. Bail refused. Robbery.—Ann Dobbyn, the wife of a ' fish-hawker, was brought up on a charge of stealing tho sum of £7 from the person of Hugh Davis, at Lynch'«° boardingrhouse, Shortland-streot, on tho night of tho 10th inst.— Prisonor ploaded not guilty and wished for a remand in order to consult a solicitor.—lt was agreed to take ijhe caso at two o'clock.
