The last coucert for the presont_ season of the Devonport Musical Society will take place on "Wednesday evening on April 25th at the Devonport. Ball, Particulars in advertisement in another column. It is a "cruel kindness," surely, which leads a Sydney widow thus to lament her husband's death in the newspaper obituary notice :— " Palo death could scarcely find another So good a husband, so kind a father. In all his actions ho was kind, And loft his loved ones all behind." To include hia "shuffling off" asamodgthe kind actions of the departed one is n.ot very complimentary, to say the least.
