Evsininq Stab Offloe, Monday, Messrs Coohrane and sons sold 80 shares Hand of Friendship Gold Mining Company, at 2a 6d per share. The property at Mount St John Aid not reaoh the reserve, and was held over, alio the langitlrorla Hote'» Mesßra B. Tonks and Co. sold a large consignment of pianos to-day, and musical boxes. There was a good attendance, and all the Instruments were sold, but prloes ruled rather low.
Mr R. O. Greenwood sold the old wo?den cottage in Mills' Lane for £2. *
