THE OPERA MOUSE.

East Lynne.

The popular drama of ''East Lynne" was produced at the Opera House last evening before a good house, The caste is a strong one, Miss filoiao Juno taking the leading parts ot Lady Isabel and Madame Vine, Her acting was strongly emotional, tbe bitter anguish and deep remor.iu of the ruined mother, being veiy strikingly pourtrayed. Mr E. B. Jttussell made a Capital Archibald uarlyle, and Miss Nellio Greenlcs«, a charming Barbara Bare, while Mw MeUowan as Corny Carlyle, Mr W. Mar. Bhall as Sir Francis Lovison, Mr Whining as Kicbard Bare, were all good in their respective parts. The impersonation of Willie Carljlo wa? entrusted to little Mabel Master*, and was certainly clever. "Jraonio I'eaua" will be represented tot n'ghr, and all those who have not seen tbls excellent drama, founded on tbe sensational story in Sir Walter Scott's " Heart; o! Midlothian," should avail themselves of this opportunity of doing so,

» Green Bushes " To-morrow.

The old and popular evergreen drama of " Green Bushes " js announced for production to-morrow evening, It is one of the iste John Bcldwin Buckatoue's best plays, and has stood public test throughout Great Britain and \Amerioa for nearly half a century. It is always sut-e of a good roceptlon when placed on the stage in any--1 thing like an eflicient manner, and i represented by an average company with a conception of its characters. In this latter respect, the company at tbo Opera House aro fully qualified to do it jm,t:oe. Miss Juno's "Miami," the huntress of the Mississippi, is said to tp ono of her best Impersonations, and the public may therefore depend upon a treat. The piece is to be presented with new scenery and iftocts, and as a conßideraole time has elapsed since it was last prodoced ia Auckland, there will doubtless bo a arge house.
