(BP TEWGRAPH.—SPECIAL CORRESPONDS!?-.)
ALEXANDRA, Friday evening. Ths m_6ting will bs held to-morrow at 11 o'clock at Mr Bryce's request. Tawhiao says ho is quite icady to meet him. Ths most conflicting opinions ar. held as to what Tawhiao will do or say; but tho Ngatimaniapoto's held a meeting about mid-day, and In the afternoon came to tho conclusion to support the king as such. Ono speakar asked tbe pertinent question, " What will yeu do if Tawhiao s*ys yea." To this question there waa no response. _ The gen.ml impression is tbat Tawhiao will say *'No." Tawhiaa haa, howsver, kept himself perdu most of the day, and rumour has it that he wiU h«ve direction in dreams what to do and to tat ; but his assured manner to Mr Butler this evening gives an apparent contradiction to the statement.
